Return & refund policy
DoctorOS sells digital services — there are no physical goods to return. This page covers every situation where money comes back to you.

Prepaid visit fees
When you prepay a visit online, the refund follows the same cancellation policy shown before every booking:
- Cancel 6 hours or more before the appointment: full refund.
- Cancel later than that: 30% of the visit fee goes to the practitioner as a late-cancellation fee and the remaining 70% is refunded.
- If the practitioner cancels — at any time — you are refunded in full.
- If a prepaid booking is never paid within the payment window, the booking is cancelled automatically and nothing is charged.

Practice subscriptions
- Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial with no card required — you are never charged before you've used the product.
- If you're unsatisfied, contact us within 14 days of your first charge for a full refund of that charge.
- After that, subscriptions are charged per billing period and are non-refundable once the period has started, but you can cancel any time and keep access until the period ends — there is no cancellation fee and no further charges.
- Annual plans cancelled within 30 days of renewal are refunded pro-rata for the unused months.
Treatment instalment plans
Instalments are payments toward a treatment plan agreed between you and your practice. If a treatment is cancelled or cannot be completed, the unused balance is settled between you and the practice; DoctorOS will facilitate the reversal of any instalment that was collected online for treatment that was never delivered. Contact us with the plan details and we'll coordinate with the practice.
Duplicate or erroneous charges
Any duplicate charge, wrong amount, or charge you didn't authorise is refunded in full, no questions asked. Report it and we'll investigate within 2 business days.
How and when refunds are paid
- Refunds go back to the original payment method (JazzCash, Easypaisa, card or bank via PayFast).
- We initiate refunds within 2 business days of approval; depending on the payment provider it can take 7–10 business days to appear in your account.
