You don’t have to carry this alone
Talk to a verified psychologist or therapist online — private, judgment-free, from wherever you are. For you, for your teenager, or for your child. No waiting room. No one has to know.
Wanting to talk to someone isn’t a small thing to ask for
In Pakistan, a lot of people who could use a good conversation with a therapist never get one — not because they don’t need it, but because of the drive, the cost, the stigma of being seen at a clinic, or simply not knowing where to start. Mental-health struggles are far more common here than the silence around them suggests; our guide to depression and anxiety in Pakistan covers what the research actually shows.
DoctorOS exists to make the first step easier: search, see a real therapist’s profile and fee, and book a private video session in a few minutes — the same way you’d book anything else.
For children and teenagers
Kids and teenagers carry stress too — school, bullying, friendships, change at home — and often find it easier to open up to someone who isn’t a parent or a teacher. Many therapists on DoctorOS work with children and adolescents specifically, and a video call from home is usually far less intimidating than a clinic waiting room.
- 1.Book the session on your own account, and add a note explaining it’s for your child or teenager and what’s going on.
- 2.Join the video call together, or let an older teenager talk one-on-one — the therapist will guide what’s appropriate.
- 3.Everything discussed stays between your family and the therapist.
How an online session works
1. Find a therapist
Search by what you're going through — search results show real fees and real availability, not a call centre.
2. Book online
Pick a slot and confirm — free to book, and every profile shows the exact fee before you do.
3. Join by video
You'll get a private video link before the session. Join from your phone or laptop, wherever you have some privacy.
Therapists near you
Online sessions work from anywhere, but many therapists also see patients in person.

- Is online therapy as good as seeing someone in person?
- For talk therapy and counselling — anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship and family issues — a private video session works the same way an in-person one does: it's still a real conversation with a licensed psychologist, at a time and place you choose. Some situations do need to be seen in person, and a good therapist will tell you if that's the case.
- Will anyone find out I'm seeing a therapist?
- No one but you and your therapist can see your booking or your session notes. You join the video call from your own phone or laptop, at a time you pick — there's no waiting room, no receptionist, and nothing that shows up to family or friends unless you choose to tell them.
- Can I book online therapy for my child or teenager?
- Yes. Book the session on your own DoctorOS account and add a note saying it's for your child or teenager and what's going on — the therapist will read it before the session. You (or another trusted adult) can join the call with a younger child, or step back and let a teenager talk privately, whatever the therapist recommends.
- How much does an online therapy session cost in Pakistan?
- Sessions with a psychologist or therapist on DoctorOS in Pakistan typically run PKR 1,500–4,000, depending on the practitioner and how long the session is. Every practitioner's profile shows their exact fee before you book — no surprises.
- Do I need a referral or a diagnosis to book a therapist?
- No. You can book directly — you don't need a doctor's referral, and you don't need to already know what's wrong. "I just want to talk to someone" is a perfectly good reason to book a first session.
- What if this is an emergency?
- DoctorOS is for booking talk-therapy appointments, not for emergencies. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, call 1122 or go to your nearest emergency room right away.
